Mac The Knife!
These are knives and multitools I've had for years!
If you look in the press, garden shed or tool box you may find old knives you've had for years and years. I've gathered up all the ones I could find and posted them here. And while some are quite good and useable, some are total crap!

Unknown Brand #1
I found this high quality stainless steel knife in 1980.
What that loop is for, I just don't know!

Unknown Brand #2
Large knife, made in China from early 90s.

Whitby Fishing Knife

Whitby Fishing Knife

Carhart Knife
This one I 'took' from a relatives house in the US.

Unknown Brand #3
Very cheap and very poor quality! Small too!

Unknown Brand #4
An imitation shotgun cartridge, very cool, but a little dangerous as
that blade can swing back if you're not careful.

Unknown Brand #5
An imitation Vixtorinox Classic but poor quality!
This came from Boot Hill, Tombstone, Arizona.

Unknown Brand #6
For those that like a drink! Wine or beer, anyone?

Unknown Brand #7
Almost like a bug! Cheap and nasty!

Unknown Brand #8
This a pretty good multi-tool with a great pliers.

Coast Multitool
Under 2" when folded this has come in handy many times!

Shotgun Cartridge
An imitation shotgun cartridge in red. I just had to have it!

Craftsman Multitool
A cute little multitool with a great little cutter.

Unknown Brand #9
This is a poster boy for poor quality crap! This one of the worst excuses for
a SAK I've ever seen. It's like something from a lucky bag! A piece of shit!

Crivit
When it says 'Crivit' it was most likely sold at a Lidl supermarket, as they always have
lots of  knives, bike tools, nick knacks, etc with the Crivit name on them.

VICTORINOX
Ever since I was 7 or 8 I've had a Pen Knife. I respected it and others. It came in handy for building tree houses and messing around in the bushes playing war games. Now after having piles of knifes over the decades, I've come to the realisation that have a knife or multi-tool gives you a certain sense of comfort. I use them for fishing, daily tasks like opening stuff and cutting. Neither a vandal or a thug a knife makes me feel warm, as it's always good to be looking at one rather than looking for one when you need to do a task. This probably goes back to the caveman days when a knife could save your life!

58mm SAK
Classic + Maglite
This was the first one I bought yonks ago as it came in a very attractive
package with a Mag Liteplus AA cell! The scissors spring broke on the SD and it remains missing to date. The Maglite is defunk to as battery corrision
damaged the inside.

Manager
I cannot remember when I bought this as a replacement but it was in the last ten
years. It is on my car key and I use it every day. It's a great keyring.

Classic SD
As my old Classic is MIA I decided to but this for my house keys! Why not,
it will sure come in handy any minute now!

Classic
This has been floating around for a long, long time. It has is place on a keyring!

Classic
In racing green!

74mm SAK

Executive
The Executive is not very common today and is one of the rarer 74mm knives.
It also has an unusual oranger peeler implement and nail file.

84mm SAK

Bantam Ecoline
The Ecoline is the budget range from Victorinox but don't be fooled, they are still high quality and the nylon scales are tough and wear well. This is a superb knife with excellent features for a small price!

Bantam Alox
Super thin at only 6mm and super functional this little fellow packs a punch!

Excelsior
This is kind of the odd man out with it's slim cigar shape and two blades.
I refer to it as the gentleman's SAK! Slim and neat with a small blade and a smaller blade!

Recruit
With it's small size and useful toolset this is a great little pocket companion!

Walker
A very cool tool indeed, just like a bantam but with a saw.

Cadet
This is a must have for collectors and SAK fans in general. Buy one, you'll love it!

Cadet Black Alox LE
This one is most likely from 2012 five colour series and has no keyring
which is unusual for a Cadet.

91mm SAK
Tinker Deluxe
I wanted the scissors and the pliers so I plumbed for this excellent tool.
It's got all the features you could wish for for the money.

Spartan
One of the most popular knives from Victorinox, this
is superb value for money.

Spartan cool in Camo!

Spartan in translucent orange came as part of a limited edition 'Color Twins' set which had it paired with a razor sharp kitchen knife for slicing and dicing!

 Juicy!

Spartan in red

Spartan in blue

Huntsman
This has all the stuff you need for daily use. The combination of the scissors and the saw in one tool is very very useful indeed.

Traveller
Produced in the 80s, the Traveller was discontinued by the end of that decade.

Climber
A very popular SAK and an ideal choice for the pocket for all kinds of tasks.
This was bought from an Italian seller on eBay for a mere €12.00 in superb condition.

Camper (Ecoline)
Another fine model and even more robust with it's nylon scales.
A super bargain from Italy on eBay for only €9.99!

Craftsman
This one has a history from the space race as earlier versions were made for NASA! It's been discontinued but lives on in the Handyman which has a corkscrew instead of the philips screwdriver! Bizarre I know!

Fisherman
A well used Fisherman. This has a unique fish logo

CyberTool 34
With it's bit set and wrench this SAK is the one for the job! I love the idea and usefulness of this one especially for gadgets with small screws!
A must have for collectors!

Tinker
Who could resist a SAK in Ruby Red translucent? Not me! This model is
similar to the Spartan but swaps out the corkscrew for a Philips screwdriver.

93mm SAK

Farmer
I absolutely love this knife. The Alox scales are super cool
and the saw is awesome. It's on a lanyard and in my back pocket as we speak!

Pioneer Pruner
Another special SAK with a unique hawkbill blade, the reason I bought
this wonderful Alox clad beauty!

Pioneer
A great SAK with just the right 2 layers for everyday tasks and it won't let you down!

Pioneer Solo
There is something very special about a single blade job. One man, one blade, one happy dude who appreciates the simple things in life!
Also called Swiss Army 1.

Pioneer Electrician
I know that the coloured Alox SAK are a lot more expensive than the silver but do they look amazing, yes indeed. The Electrician is all the more attractive because it has that unique 'sheepsfoot' blade with the wire stripper curve. The more I looked at it the more I wanted it and eventually I gave in and bought it on eBay!
When it arrived I was speechless! It's a stunner!

Pioneer X
The Pioneer X came out a few years ago and it was the first time a Pioneer offered a scissors so it was an instant hit. It's red Alox colour is a pretty awesome to say the least. A must have in any colour!

100mm SAK

Gardener
A pretty unusual knife with a pretty unusual blade but it's very sharp and great for slicing and dicing. Marketed as a gardener's knife for pruning this is from the Ecoline range and superb value for money.

108mm SAK

Solo
With it's 75mm blade and durable nylon scales,
the solo is a great everyday chopper!

111mm SAK

Rescue Tool
Victorinox have stated that this is the tool they hope you never have to use! Why? It's designed for firemen and rescue services. It has a glass breaker and saw for shatterproof glass, one handed blade, seatbelt cutter. It's an award winner too!

Trailmaster
This large SAK is also know as the Trekker in some territories. I wanted an out door knife with big blade and saw and not much else so this was perfect. The cammo is very cool too but it has no shield so this one must have slipped through QC!

Alpineer
This is a simple one with a single blade and corkscrew. The toothpick and tweezers are also in the scales making it an ideal food knife! It's light and thin and fits nicely in the pocket.

Sentinel One Hand
This is a very simple large one with a single, semi-serrated blade in stealthy black!
Very smart indeed!

130mm SAK

Hunter Pro Alox
The flagship of my collection is this stunning large blade Hunter Pro with red Alox handles. No Swiss Army Knife collection is complete without one!
